FREE SHIPPING:

Spend your hard-earned money on boating gear, not shipping charges. When you place an order of $50 or more, we’ll ship it to you for free. If, for some reason, you’re not stoked about your order, give us a call.  

During the checkout process our system requires a free shipping coupon code, please enter the code as it appears on our website. Free shipping applies to retail priced orders over $50 that do not include oversized or “difficult to ship” items. Items such as rafts, frames, frame components, coolers, dry boxes, oars, paddles, firepans, river tables, among others are considered oversized items. Surcharges will be clearly displayed in the shopping cart and during checkout.  

Free shipping applies to standard ground shipping within the contiguous US (sorry, Alaska, Hawaii and international shipments are excluded).  Pro, Outfitter, Dealer, or any other customers receiving discounted pricing do not qualify for free shipping. Sale items do not qualify for free shipping. When purchasing a full package, oversized surcharges will be applied. We will discuss this with you.

 

SHIPPING TIMELINES:

To make sure you can get on the river as quick as possible we strive to ship in-stock items no later than the next business day. Keep in mind that delays with carriers and delays due to a higher volume of orders may delay shipping. We work to keep our inventory correct, however there are times when it is not. If there are backordered, unavailable items or custom products on your order, we will contact you with an estimated timeline. Items may be shipped separately as they become available.

RETURNS and EXCHANGES:

All returns require an RA (return authorization) number. Please call Down River Equipment at 888-467-2144 or 303-467-9489 for an RA number. Please put your RA number on the outside of the shipping box. 

Customers may return any stock item (i.e., not custom-built or specially ordered) for any reason. Custom built and specially ordered items are not returnable (except for warranty issues). Down River Equipment offers a full refund of the purchase price for stock items returned new and unused within 30 days of purchase. Returns past 30 days will only be allowed store credit. Shipping charges for oversized items are not refundable. Wholesale and pro customers are responsible for returning the item to Down River Equipment unless it is a defective item. 

All returns will be processed within a couple of days after receipt of the returned item at Down River Equipment. For credit card refunds, please allow two billing cycles for the credit to show on your statement. Paypal refunds will be processed withing 2 business days. Checks will be mailed for refunds of orders paid with cash or check. Returns for CREDOVA financed purchases (that are in accordance with our standard return policy) will be initiated by Down River and processed through Credova within 2 business days. Credova will credit the Customer’s outstanding balance accordingly. Partial returns will require a redraft of the contract with Credova.
