A letter from Shana Colbin
owner of Kismet and True Boutique

 

On May 11th, 2006, I opened my first Kismet in a small space on 32nd and Meade Street. Over 18 years later, after building three brands, multiple store openings, acquisitions and moves, one store remains: Kismet in the Lowry Town Center. 

We want to be the place that helps you build a wardrobe that makes getting dressed in the morning easy, so you can feel comfortable and confident throughout your day. We also want to be the place where you find the perfect accessory to finish an outfit. And we love being a place where you can find a gift for a loved one that blends uniqueness and quality without breaking the bank.  We also strive to connect with our community and be a regular place for our customers to come in for a bit of respite. 

The longstanding mission statement of the company is now more important than ever: to inspire happiness in our staff, our customers, our vendors, and our community while offering the highest quality products at reasonable prices. We also strive to adhere to our core values of kindness, integrity, motivation, empathy, teamwork, self-accountability and authenticity. 

We welcome babies, kids, dogs, and we are proud to see familiar faces over and over. This is why we do this.

I am thankful for the last 18 years and for the little store that started in the Highlands. On behalf of myself and my team, we look forward to connecting with you.
