Cowtown Skateboards, established in 1997, is skateboarder-owned and operated. Over the past 27 years, Cowtown has nurtured the Arizona skate scene and culture growing to be the hub of skateboarding in the southwest. The unique shop experience, a subculture all its own, along with skateboarders, artists, musicians, and multigenerational loyal customers come together to make Cowtown the brand you see today. Representing only the finest brands with passion, honesty, and integrity has earned Cowtown the reputation of being the premiere skateboard shop in Phoenix, Arizona.

Skateboarding events allow Cowtown to come together with our community to celebrate skateboarding. We have a regular event schedule that showcases the best of local and national skateboarding. Cowtown is also home to the annual PHXAM Contest, bringing skateboarders from around the globe to Phoenix, Arizona to compete. PHXAM is a physical extension of Cowtown culture letting us extend our skateboarding passion beyond our Arizona home and to the world. 

In a natural progression, we decided in 2018 to create Cowtown S.K.A.T.E., a nonprofit organization in pursuit of achieving community goals beyond the scope of our commercial business. Cowtown S.K.A.T.E. is the vessel in which we can pay forward the enjoyment we have experienced through skateboarding and guide youth toward a better tomorrow.
